This week, we’ll travel back in time to explore what it was like to live like an ancient Egyptian by the pyramids at Giza! Students will excavate fun facts about Egyptian art and culture through the creation of mixed media Egyptian artwork. We’ll learn about color theory, color mixing and composition while creating a self portrait depicting what we might have looked like as a pharaoh, create a ceramic scarab beetle, and even make our own Egyptian masks!
