Get your SCUBA gear ready - this week we’re headed on an artistic expedition to discover the lost city of Atlantis! Students will use their imaginations to design and create their very own under-the-sea civilization by combining 2D and 3D mixed media materials like painting, recycled materials, and even real seashells. Artists will explore Atlantis’ underwater environment to discover treasure, learn about sea creatures that cohabitate with the city’s citizens, and discuss the importance of ocean ecology and clean-up.
