Description

Explore DIY printmaking techniques and embroidery in this 4-week class! Students will learn a DIY version of screen printing using an embroidery hoop, organza, and Mod Podge. The prints made in the first two weeks will be used on your own upcycled fabrics and used again in the last two weeks of class. In weeks three and four students will learn embroidery techniques to add details by creating depth, clarity and color variation to their prints. The class will cover different stitch work techniques such as satin stitch, back stitch, French knot, chain stitch and more! Participants are encouraged to bring their own clothes, bags or pieces of fabric to use for printing and sewing.

*Please note: We have a no refund policy. Be sure to visit our CLASS FAQ and  COVID FAQ page for up to date information. If you are interested in financial assistance, apply for a Scholarship and wait for a response from our scholarship committee prior to registering here.
