Join us for this explorative 2 day "School Day Out" class! Just like our friend Max from Where the Wild Things Are, we’ll let the art rumpus commence and utilize movement as part of our art making! We will use the action of play experiments to create line, shape, texture, and color. The fun will encompass much action art including the use of toy cars, pendulum structures, bubbles, stockings with rice that bounce, straws, balls, balloons - and more! Special attention will be paid to the different processes we can take to create vibrant, abstract art. Go, Art, Go!

It’s time to think outside the realistic box of crayons. Melting clocks and a ship made of clouds are normal, right? It’s time for our artists to use the depths of their imagination to create worlds of the abnormal in this Surrealistic class. Instructors will use ceramics, junk art, painting or drawing techniques to help the dreamy worlds of Surrealism come to life. Instructors will build their lessons to accommodate for every age.
