Plein Air Watercolor at Artsweek Golden! (Ages 18-99) Ages 18-99

This special event will take our artists into the natural environment of Golden, Colorado! Artists will set up their easels and learn techniques from their own surroundings. Participants will learn many different watercolor skills such as color choices, watercolor glazing and resists. The Plein Air Event will conclude with a reception, awards ceremony and artwork sale on July 11th. Students are able to submit their completed plein air masterpieces in the art show. The first day students will meet at Meet at Golden History Park at 923 10th St. Golden, Colorado. (Ages 15-99 will be in the same group for all 5 days) Registration closes June 11th!

Meet the instructor...

Pat Clarke
Board Member and Teacher

Pat Clarke is a nationally recognized Watercolorist exhibiting her work through galleries in Santa Fe, NM and Vail, CO. She is a signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society and the Park Hill Art Club. She has had the pleasure of traveling the world painting landscapes in Spain, Egypt and more. Pat has been teaching students of all ages and skill levels for the past 26 years. She supports the development of the Art Garage as a non-profit, offering strength and knowledge drawn from her experience as co-founder of the Park Hill Bike Depot.
