Adult Altered Books Ages 18-99

The first day of class we will search through recycled books to find which one will become your own to alter. We will then build into them to create a hidden compartment. Each day we will experiment with new materials and techniques to use inside your book’s pages. We will use gesso, watercolor, acrylic paint, collage, pen and ink, typography, and even draw coded design messages. Creative prompts will be used as jumping off points into the artistic process!
