Robert Shikiar and his family have been Park Hill residents since 2001. He presently works as an attorney for the University of Colorado physician group practice on the Aurora medical campus. He serves on the board of another non-profit organization, Adoption Options, and as a volunteer attorney for the Colorado Health Equity Project. He participates in the Habitat for Humanity Interfaith Alliance home building project as well. He feels that the Art Garage brings a very positive element to the community because it serves as a neighborhood gathering place for students and artists alike. His children, Sam and Alex, enjoy taking classes at the Art Garage.
