Summer Camps: Week 2!
HANNAH BEAN \ JUNE 17, 2020
Another wonderful week of art six feet apart at The Art Garage! Our youngest artists explored the wonderful world of creepy crawlers, creating toilet paper tube bees, fingerprint beehives, spider hats, and tons of other fun projects that had them livin' the bugs life. Our 6-8 year olds spent a week creating artistic, musical instruments like popsicle stick kazoos, shoebox guitars, paper plate and bottle cap cymbals, and paper mache maracas! The 9-12 year old groups created a tea set inspired by traditional Japanese ceramics in our morning class and experimented with the ancient textile dying technique Batik in our afternoon class, creating unique pillow cases, tote bags, and more.
We couldn't be more excited to have our studios filled with activity and creativity again and can't wait for the next two months of Summer Camps, amazing projects, and incredible young artists!
