Summer Camps: Week 3!
HANNAH BEAN \ JUNE 24, 2020
Another wonderful week full of art adventures! Our mornings were full of unconventional printmaking with our 3-5 year olds, who used their hands and feet, balloons, and bubbles to create HUGE print collages. Meanwhile, our 6-12 year olds dove into the world of sculpting with recycled materials by creating junk art robots and used tempera and India ink to create batiked self portraits that capture this moment in history! In the afternoons, our 4-8 year olds took a trip to Madagascar to discover amazing animals like lemurs, tree frogs, and comet moths while our 9-12 year old artists created their own mythical beats by writing stories about them and bringing them to life through paper mache sculpture.
We can't wait for the next two months of Summer Camps, amazing projects, and incredible young artists!
