Summer Camps: Week 8!
HANNAH BEAN \ JULY 28, 2020
Last week at The Art Garage our 6-8 year old artists made their very own paper and paper pulp sculptures in the morning and created unique and functional ceramics in the afternoon, including creatures, bowls, and more! Our 3-5 year olds dove into the wonderful world of Eric Carle, an Art Garage favorite, and made their very own very hungry caterpillars, planted their own tiny seeds, and built their own ladders to the moon. Meanwhile, 9-12 year old artists got inspired to create collages, paper sculpture, and paintings of everyone's favorite slow-moving mammal, the sloth!
Week 8 of camps was also Week 2 of our teen class, where students worked on monochromatic painting, creating shades and tones, and underpainting.
