Another incredible week of creativity at The Art Garage! In the mornings our 3-5 year old artists got inspired by songs to create art like Wheels on the Bus, Frogs on a Log, Old MacDonald and more while the 6-8 year olds spent the week getting to know themselves by using transparencies, drawings, and photographs to create a myriad of marvelous self portraits. In the afternoons, The Art Garage transformed into the AG Corral as 4-8 year old artists explored the old West through the arts by making stick ponies, cowboy hats, and pop-up cacti! Meanwhile, our 9-12 year olds explored a variety of techniques for texturing ceramics including sgraffito, slip trailing, and making prints with lace and string.
It's hard to believe there are only a couple weeks left of Summer Camps but we are already getting excited for fall classes and another season of amazing artwork by Art Garage kiddos. Check out all of the photos from Week 9 on our Facebook and Instagram and take a look at our fall classes today!
