Want to complete a poetry manuscript in a supportive and productive community? Marissa Forbes will launch the Denver Chapter of Community Literature Initiative through a 10 month poetry to publication course. This all encompassing hybrid course includes weekly poetry lessons, prompts, and workshops that culminates in the completion of your full length poetry manuscript; you'll receive an author's copy as well as digital files ready for publication submission. Scholarships are based on financial need and demonstrated motivation. Applicants are expected to have transportation to and from class, to attend class regularly, and to fully participate in all class activities. Students' participation and attendance will be recorded and will be considered by The Art Garage administration in awarding future scholarships.
