Our mission is to ensure that the artistic process is fully accessible and inclusive for all by offering arts based programs that inspire, empower, and promote creative self-expression by people of all ages and backgrounds. Support from SCFD makes it possible for our organization to expand its reach, grow its programming, and continue to pursue our mission. The SCFD is a cultural funding tax district that serves 7 counties in the Denver Metro Area. To keep arts and culture alive and healthy in Denver, SCFD uses just one penny of every $10 sales tax dollars in the district to give back to organizations like The Art Garage, distributing more than $60 million annually.
