Students will discover the meaning and importance behind circular motifs in art and history. They will learn how cultures all around the world have adopted their own unique form of mandala in their artmaking and heritage. We will create mandala designs inspired by our own personal life and culture, which we'll then transfer to clay! Students will take home a beautiful clay design that they can hang on their wall along with a hand drawn and vividly-colored mandala.
