Adventures in Arendelle

Take a break from the hot summer months and escape to the snowy land of Arendelle as we get inspired by ‘Frozen’ and 'Frozen II'. Students will create their own castles, make a unique Olaf character, create winter scenes and create ice cube paints! Students will explore their own art super powers and create a magical classroom. ‘Frozen’ stories will be shared along with other wintery stories.

You get to be sorcerer of your own wizard art class this week! First you will need to make your very own wizard hat to secure your magical powers! Will you be guided by the moon and stars or by your pet owl? This class will make many different wizard art projects like magic wands, crystal balls and design your very own dream castles. Batik Technique: Virtual Class

In this live, virtual class students will not only learn the history of the wax resist dyeing technique called Batik, but they will also learn the process first hand! Students will meet with the instructor each Thursday in June on Zoom to safely experiment with Batik from home. There are many different types of Japanese tea ceremony bowls such as the matcha bowl and Chawan tea bowl that are still used in tradition today.
