This class takes place at International Academy of Denver (2401 E 37th Ave, Denver, CO 80205). This class is open to the public, and not limited to International Academy students. Like to color outside of the lines? Push the boundaries of your creative side and join the fun in this abstract themed class. We will explore the elements found in abstract art such as movement, value, color, texture, and shape, while developing drawing and painting skills. Your imaginative thinkers will be given the tools to test the limits of art as we experiment with crazy colors, paint resist, and paper weaving… where “mistakes” turn into “must-haves!”
*Please note: This program is grant funded and attendance is required. Families will be refunded $5 per day attended on the last day of class, up to the full $15 tuition.
