What is clay anyway? In this ceramics class, students will learn basic handbuilding skills as they delve into the wonderful world of clay! Artists will be guided in making slabs with the palms of their hands, pinching a ball of clay into a pot, and turning a coil into a bowl. This very exciting, exploratory ceramics class is designed for young artists who want to explore the properties of clay and learn foundational sculpting skills.
