We know a lot of great art came out of the Renaissance and Enlightenment periods, but what truly bizarre elements of artwork from Medieval times still linger today? This week will be full of grand ideas and interesting materials as we learn fun facts about medieval artwork and how it's still relevant in modern times. Campers will study and draw animals in strange Medieval styles, sculpt their own ceramics based on Medieval drawings, experiment with gold leaf, and have a blast in the past creating medieval masterpieces. *Please note: We have a no refund policy. The 1970's were more than disco balls and black lights (but those are pretty great, too)! This camp will explore the most popular crafts and funky artforms of the 1970s. Like every car needs an oil change, The Art Garage needs a new mural! Students in this camp will collaborate from start to finish to make their mark on our studio with a new mural. They will brainstorm as a group, sketch their own ideas, then work together to create the design for a large-scale mural that will be completed throughout the week. Campers will learn how to enlarge and transfer their design onto the wall using the grid system and then execute new techniques to paint it all in! *Please note: We have a no refund policy.
