Elena Niermann is a professional artist, activist and educator. She graduated in 2021 with her BA in Studio Painting and Psychology, with future plans to get her master's in art therapy. Elena's art practice focuses mainly on surreal and figurative painting, color theory, beading techniques and sustainability. She is a huge fan of utilizing found/recycled materials and of up-cycling with artwork. She believes strongly in the healing power of art and community, and she absolutely loves being able to work to cultivate these values at the Art Garage!
