In this 5-week mixed media class, students will take an ordinary book and transform it into an incredible artwork! We will begin class by searching through recycled books to find which one will become your own to alter. We will then use gesso, paint, collage, pen and ink, typography, and other media to alter our book’s pages with pop outs, hidden compartments, and more. Our skilled instructor will spark your creative process with demonstrations and creative prompts as you transform your book into a treasure trove of creativity. Class will not be held on Sunday, November 27th.
