In this 4-week class, artists will experiment with using words to create visual imagery and explore the relationship between visual art and writing. Each week, students will read and discuss poems and other writing, look at related visual art, and create their own written works. Students will also participate in workshops, learn how to offer closely considered feedback, practice live readings in a supportive environment, and even learn some tips on submitting work to lit magazines and contests!
