Description

This class will offer young artists an opportunity to explore new cultures through a colorful world of illustrated stories and fairytales! We’ll take a trip around the world using literature as our guide and see what other children around the world are reading. Each day, we'll read a new story then draw, paint, and collage artwork inspired by it. Books like Possum Magic (Australia), Dim Sum For Everyone! (China) and I Lost My Tooth In Africa (Mali) will introduce your young artist to the rich cultural heritage and traditions of other countries.

*Please note: We have a no refund policy. Be sure to visit our SUMMER FAQ page for up to date information. If you are interested in financial assistance, apply for a Scholarship and wait for a response from our scholarship committee prior to registering here.
