Learn to see ordinary objects, like a hair clip or a cardboard box, as a canvas for your creative expression in this recycled art class! Students will explore a variety of techniques to jazz up their junk by painting, collaging, adorning, and re-purposing materials into artistic masterpieces. Artists will learn basic embroidery techniques to create their own personalized art smocks, make unique pins using mixed media techniques, and even decorate storage tins to store all of their new, bedazzled treasures.
