It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s…your art! Let your creativity take flight this week as we let flying through the skies inspire our artwork. From the natural flight of birds and butterflies to the man-made flight of planes and rocket ships, students will learn about the mechanics of flight and look at ways that famous artists have portrayed flight in their work. We will try our hands at making paper flying machines, create junk art sculpture, paint flying creatures, and more!
